This filter removes all the contaminants listed below, which are the same as those removed by the Merlin, but has the added benefit of a water softening cartridge in the first chamber. This means the Amethyst unit can be used in areas of the country which suffer with hard water conditions. This filter will soften and improve the taste and quality of your drinking water, make it healthier for you and will prevent the build up of scale in your kettle and on other pots, pans and utensils.

With a capacity to deliver 5000 litres of filtered water per cartridge set, this unit offers excellent value for money costing less than 0.5p per litre to run.

We recommend your water filter cartridge set be changed every six months.

No plumbing skills are required so you can easily fit this under sink water filter yourself. All fittings, connectors and full, easy to follow installation instructions are provided.
